There is no amount of effort that can heal all the scars left by the recent natural disaster in Nepal. Simply hearing the news is heartbreaking for us; we cannot begin to imagine what the families and children living through it are experiencing.
But we cannot remain silent and in shock when there is something we can do. We are determined not only to help now, but also to build a system that will continue helping children when disasters strike. With that commitment, K-PALS is establishing a Children’s Disaster Fund at the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH). ❤️
We will begin by sending $20,000 immediately.
This fund will support disaster affected children within our reach for treatment and care. From now through December 31, 2026, donations made through our K-PALS efforts for this purpose will help build and strengthen this fund. Donations specifically designated for disaster-affected children will go toward their care and support.
Our 5th Annual K-PALS Networking & Fundraising Event in Colorado on September 5 will continue as scheduled — but this year, it carries an even deeper purpose. What was planned as an evening of networking, partnership, and support for children’s healthcare in Nepal has now also become an opportunity to stand together for the children and families affected by this disaster.
We cannot undo what has happened. We cannot erase their pain. But we can stand beside them, help children recover, and build something lasting for the next child who needs us.
If you have been asking how you can help, this is one way.
Every contribution matters. Every child matters. ❤️🇳🇵
We look forward to meeting you at the K-PALS 5th Annual Networking and Fundraising Event on September 5, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CDT), at 67 Inverness Dr, E Unit c, Englewood, CO 80112, USA.
